Melissa L. Shook
Administrative Assistant

Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of South Florida. She is familiar with our operation because she has worked part time off and on for Code Smith Financial since she graduated from high school. She put herself through college working at a local restaurant and joined us full time in April of 2009.

Melissa’s past experience in juggling her hectic school and work schedules gives her an advantage in performing her duties at Code Smith Financial. She has a dual role in that she is responsible for customer service, client management, meeting coordination, proposal and illustration preparation, and other administrative duties, as well as assisting in the Employee Benefits area with claims, enrollment processing, and the Employee Benefits website.

Melissa is married to Will Shook, a local Charter Fishing Captain. Melissa enjoys fishing, sports, motorcycles, and raising her chocolate lab, Calli.

She loves going fishing with her favorite Captain. Ask her what she catches!
